There are so many fun incarnations of this concept. Woot is one of the most entertaining--the product descriptions are silly, and the Woot-offs can keep a person entertained all day. Just revisiting my post about Woot here, and note the list where you can see all the daily deals in one place.

Be sure to read the details of the gift certificates, because most are more like a coupon where you get $25 off $35 (as an example). They are still a great money saver, and a great way to have a meal out without a lot of out of pocket expense.
Just as an example, I placed an order for eight $25 gift certificates to various restaurants in our area. That's $200 worth of certificates. They would normally charge between $10 and $15 for them, which is still a savings. With the 90% off code, that $200 was $10.25.
Again, I don't know how long this code will last. It's working as of a few minutes ago.
