HyVee Stacking Savings

This is a great week to shop at Hy-Vee.  Right now, there are a ton of awesome ways to save.  Let me go through it all. 

• First, Hy-Vee is again doing the promotion where you buy a small deep freeze for $189.99 and get the equivalent of that amount back in groceries.  This promotion lasts through 3/25, so you have a bit for this one.

• Also, you have the fuel saver program, which I have found to be an awesome opportunity to save on my gas and groceries.  I have been regularly saving 40-60 cents a gallon!  With 20 gallons, that savings can really add up.
• NOW, I have just discovered that you are able to link the Fuel Saver card to Saving Star!  Saving Star works IN ADDITION to your other coupons.  
• If you use HyVee coupons, plus manufacturers' coupons, then get Fuel Saver gas savings and Saving Star payouts, you can really add up a lot of savings from one shopping trip.

Casey's December Coupons

Here are the December savings at Casey's.

My favorite, the $13.99 large taco pizza.  No coupon necessary for this one, nor on the Monday night special--get a free 2 liter of Pepsi with the purchase of any large pizza.

This one will require a coupon, though.  Get a dozen donuts for $5.  You'll need to print the coupon HERE, this is just a pretty picture.

Farm Crawl

We love stuff like this at our house, so I wanted to pass it along to your family. If you aren't local to these farms, look into small farms in your area. Many are doing this same sort of thing.  It's a great opportunity to support people in your own community, teach kids about where their food is grown, and have some free fun.  So, September 9, from 1-5, plan on crawling the farms.

August Amazon Grocery Deals

I took a few months off on the grocery deals, since they seemed to be pretty dead over the summer. I just went to check for back to school grocery deals, and they are HERE!  As always, remember that all Amazon deals can change day by day, and they can also sell out at any time.  These prices should last out the month of August, but the popular ones might not.

Several Kellogg's breakfast choices are 25% off.  Subscribe and Save option drops it more. I remember about a year ago when my buy point for cereal was under $1 per box.  Now $2 is an excellent price.

• Another favorite around here are the Stretch Island fruit leathers.  You can get them for around 30 cents each right now.
• Organic Valley milk around $1 each.
• Hershey's Chocolate milks under $1 each.

This month is gluten free month, with TONS of markdowns and deals on gluten free grocery items.  I've been dabbling a bit in gluten free, so I now can see what a good price many of these are.  Here are my favorite:

• Tiger Tiger rice noodle bowls, they are $20 for 8 bowls, then save 15% with subscribe and save, and an additional $1.50 with the coupon.  That brings them down under $2 per package.

• Rise Bars in various flavors, 5% off with subscribe and save, and an additional 10% off when you click this coupon.  This brings many down to around $1 each.
• Urban Pantry bean mix, three large jars or organic beans, go from $20.25 to $17.21 with subscribe and save, then take $3 off with coupon.  That makes these beans under $5 per jar.

• The Movers and Shakers list, which will show you the deals being snapped up.  I check this every day to find the best Amazon grocery prices.

This is a weekend only deal, in stores and online. The deals are different, and the in store one rocks! All items are buy one, get one 50% off. THEN, there is a coupon which effectively takes 50% off your total. This is my favorite sale, though I prefer shopping from home.
