Short Notice Free/Cheap Events

• I just noticed that the Des Moines Botanical Center has free admission for Earth Day. Get down there if you can. If not, it's still a great place to visit, and is fairly inexpensive for every day admission.  They are also having a Blue Ribbon Fair on Saturday that looks like a lot of fun.  I'll stick that into the calendar on the side.
• Free Horse Show at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, today through the 25th of April, all day long.
• The Drake Relays are also going on in Des Moines through the weekend.
• The Shriners are having their annual circus starting April 30th.  I was able to locate free tickets at Casey's, so check your local store.

• Don't forget the Toddler Fest this Saturday!  Free admission and a free book for every child attending.
• Also there is a Lowe's Build and Grow Workshop on Saturday.  If you click on the individual events on the calendar, it will pull down additional information about them.
