Fareway Great Grocery Giveaway

I have been meaning to post about this since it started on February 3, but somehow keep forgetting. WHO (Channel 13) is giving away $100 from Fareway every day for a month, and some lucky person will receive free groceries for a year.

You need to submit a keyword in order to enter.  You can get that keyword by watching the weather between 6 and 7 am every weekday morning, or you can ask at your local Fareway meat counter.  Read more about the contest, enter the contest (daily), and check out the winners at this link.

And--while you're hitting this page daily to remember to enter the contest, could you also vote for Reiman Gardens in Ames?  This is the last month for the contest, and they've fallen from first place.

Vote, so they can continue to offer great new things to see!  It's a great opportunity for family entertainment, and it is constantly changing.  Here's a picture of their newest exhibit.  The leafcutter ants inside the picnic basket cut pieces of leaves off on one side, carry them through the tube, and bring them over to use to grow their food.  They will also have giant insects invading the garden this summer.
