FREE Meals for Veterans 11/11

There will be many more restaurants added to this list, so check back later. For right now, here are the ones I know about:
  • Applebees is giving a free meal to veterans on Veterans' Day, 11/11.   Check out all the details here.
  • Hooters is also offering a free meal.
  • Outback Steakhouse is giving free Bloomin Onions and Coke all week.
  • Golden Corral is doing their promotion on November 14.
  • HyVee is offering free breakfast.  From their page: All veterans are invited to Hy-Vee on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11, 2010, for a free breakfast. Choose from scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrown casserole, biscuits and gravy and more served with a free small beverage. Served at all locations with a Hy-Vee Kitchen during regular breakfast hours.

Hy-Vee, Inc. is proud to honor veterans and has sponsored three Honor Flights. Each of these flights sent over 350 WWII Veterans to tour the war memorials in Washington, D.C. honoring them for their service to our country.

Hy-Vee stores have also sponsored many flights throughout the Midwest through direct contributions and donations of goods and services.
Please let me know if you are aware of any more so I can get them added here.
