Preparing for the Amazon Shopping Season

If you were around last year at this time, you already know about the lightning deals from Amazon, where you could get amazing prices for a short period of time.  Last year, they started the Monday before Thanksgiving, and it looks like it will be the same this year.  They don't have a lot of information out yet, but they say to be sure to check in on Monday, November 22 for the start of the savings.

Also if you were around last year, you know that I'll be posting the best of the best.  I'll get that lightning deal information out as soon as I have it available.

As we prepare for holiday shopping, I want to post a couple of links to previous posts I've done with some good information on how to save.

• First, Amazon Mom.  If you haven't signed up, you should do it now.  It will give you free Prime 2 day shipping on almost ANYTHING you order.  It costs nothing at all to sign up, but the benefits are huge.  
• Also, a sort of primer on how to get the best deals from shopping at Amazon.
• It looks like this link will still be good for lightning deals.  Remember, they haven't started yet, but this should be where to find them starting NEXT MONDAY!  Woo!
